I had a fantastic stay at this cozy cottage. The location is perfect, with plenty of walking routes to explore the town center and the beautiful seafront. The cottage itself is packed with everything you could possibly need, including a dishwasher which was a great convenience. The highlight for me was the fabulous fireplace and ample supply of firewood. My son absolutely loved the loft bedroom with its own little staircase and reading nook. The host, James, was very welcoming and kind, even providing a lovely welcome gift of wine and biscuits. The communication and key collection process were excellent as well.
Nothing.

The location was great, close to town and the beach. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts of wine and chocolates. Additionally, having a wood fire in the cottage was a cozy touch for our Christmas stay.
We arrived late due to a ferry delay and despite notifying the owners, they refused to give us the key or allow us to check in the next morning. We had to scramble to find alternative accommodations.

Felt like home, no complaints.

The value for money at Rose Cottage was excellent and the room itself was cozy and charming. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the seafront and town. The staff, especially James, were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast option could be improved with a wider variety of choices.

Sea Views: Waking up to the panoramic sea views from our cottage felt like being in a serene watercolor painting come to life. It was truly breathtaking and a blissful way to start each day.
Limited Space: The small cottage charm came with a trade-off of limited space. Some additional towel rails in the bathroom would have been helpful to free up space in the bedrooms.

It is disappointing that the property was not properly cleaned before our arrival, requiring us to do a deep clean ourselves.
